About Laura
Laura M. Fisher is a New Jersey native and seasoned real estate attorney who has guided thousands of buyers, sellers, and business owners through transactions across Hudson County and beyond.
Known for her attentiveness, responsiveness, and genuine warmth, Laura puts clients at ease from the very first conversation. Her approach is practical and personable—she believes great legal counsel begins with clear communication and a calm, steady presence.
Laura lives in Downtown Jersey City with her adopted German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois, Emmett Goodboy. Outside the office, she’s often cooking something delicious, building or crafting with her hands, or exploring the outdoors. Her friends like to say she’s “the best person to ride out the zombie apocalypse with”.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law, where she served as Senior Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Record, Secretary of the Human Rights Forum, and Treasurer of the International Law Society. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, with minors in Psychology and Anthropology, from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
Laura is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and is known for her clear communication and strong advocacy on behalf of her clients—whether they’re down the street or across the globe. She has successfully guided clients through transactions from Alaska to Italy to Amsterdam, proving that clarity and connection transcend geography.
